AEW: Fight Forever has got a gameplay trailer, showing various bit from the upcoming wrestling game. Those bits include wrestler entrances and in ring action, with a variety of weapons used including the barbed wire bat, fire extinguisher, skateboard, and a ball. The match types that have been confirmed for the game include singles, tag team, three way, four way, ladder matches, casino battle royale, falls count anywhere, unsanctioned lights out, and exploding barbed wire death matches. A career mode, online multiplayer, leaderboards, and a lot of customisation options from wrestlers to arenas will also be included.

What can the AEW video game learn from WWF: No Mercy?
In an opinion piece about AEW Fight Forever, Adrian asked, “Will the AEW video game be capable of matching the promises that have been made? Will it be able to channel the glorious wrestling video games of the past to make the quintessential wrestling game of tomorrow? Only time will tell. One thing’s for certain though, I’ll be there on launch day to find out.”
A release date for AEW: Fight Forever is still to be confirmed, but the platforms is will be released on are PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
