The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta is the most successful ever in the series’ history.
While Activision didn’t reveal numbers, it claimed that the MW2 beta had the most players, the most matches played as well as the most played hours. The beta originally started as a closed beta for PlayStation for those that pre-ordered. However, it then moved to a cross-platform open beta for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

Furthermore, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has also generated 15 million pre-registrations on Google Play, making it the fastest game to reach that total for Activision Blizzard and King Mobile.
As a result of the 15 million pre-registrations, those that pre-registered will receive at launch the: “Emblem: Dark Familiar and Vinyl: Foe’s Flame as well as the X12 Prince of Hell Blueprint and M4 – Archfiend Weapon Blueprints.”

Activision promised that more DLC will be gifted when Call of Duty Warzone Mobile reaches 25 million pre-registrations. Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will launch in 2023.
