Another week means another visit from Xur and another return of the Trials of Osiris to Destiny 2.
Xur is a strange seller that vendors the rarest and finest Exotic and Legendary items in all of Destiny 2 on a rotating basis. The Trials of Osiris, on the other hand, is one of the game’s premiere PvP events that rewards players for winning matches.
With that in mind here’s all you need to know about the return of both Xur and the Trials of Osiris.

Who is Xur in Destiny 2?
Also known as the Agent of Nine, Xur is one of the more mysterious merchants in all of Destiny 2. As one of, if not, the only connection between the Nine and the Guardians, he keeps to himself, thus leading to him visiting players in a different place each time.
Like his locations, what he sells also rotates, this means that the Exotic and Legendary items he has only remain available for a limited amount of time.
If you’re looking to take advantage of what he sells, you’ll have to make sure you catch him on time as he doesn’t stick around for long!
Where is Xur?
Xur’s location changes each week, but he gravitates between several areas:
- Winding Cove in the European Dead Zone
- In a tree in “Watcher’s Grave” on Nessus
- In the Hangar in the Tower
- The Last City, Earth
- Arcadian Valley, Nessus
Once Xur sets up shop, we’ll update this article with his location accordingly.

What are the Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2?
The Trials of Osiris are one of Destiny 2’s premiere PvP events. Alongside Iron Banner, which will be making its return soon, the trials are every player’s go-to for high-octane player-on-player action.
The event has rotating rewards and maps, meaning that players won’t know where and what they are playing for until Trials of Osiris goes live in-game.
Trial of Osiris Map
The Trials of Osiris map hasn’t been decided yet. Once it has, we’ll update this article accordingly.
In the meantime, here’s a small list of maps that could appear for Trials of Osiris in the future. It’s worth noting that there are over 10 maps that could be picked.
It’s a limited-time event, so players will only be able to participate in it for a certain period of time.
