Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new festive update has a lot of new content for the players, Players will be able to unlock new characters, unlock festive clothes, craft festive materials, and even complete time-limited festive duties. These duties will let players indulge more in the holiday update as they will allow players to do specific tasks related to the holiday season.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to complete Ho! Ho! Ho! Holiday duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Ho! Ho! Ho!
“Ho! Ho! Ho!” is an Exclusive Duty added in the new update of Disney Dreamlight Valley from which players can get an exclusive Present/Reward in their inventory. Players can see the Ho! Ho! Ho! along with other Exclusive Holiday Duties in the Village Section under the Quests tab in the main menu of the game. These Exclusive Duties are marked with a logo of Present so, players can easily recognize them and complete the requirement to get the rewards.
Completing Ho! Ho! Ho!
The Ho! Ho! Ho! Duty is very confusing as it does not tell you what exactly you have to do and people will find it hard to discover the mystery behind completing this duty. But worry not because we’ll tell you how you can easily complete this duty. This duty is mainly focused on giving gifts because it is Christmas time so you will have to give gifts to the characters in the Dreamlight Valley. However, you cannot just simply hand over gifts, you will have to wrap the gifts in Wrapping Paper and then give them to the characters.
The new update has all new festive items in the game and if you look in the crafting tab of the main menu, you will see different types of crafting recipes including different types of Gifts. If you look at the crafting recipes for these gifts, you will see one thing common in common and that is Festive Wrapping Paper. Now, there is a couple of techniques to get the Festive Wrapping Paper. You can get the Festive Wrapping Paper from outside Scrooge’s Store but it will only appear when Christmas time rolls around. The Festive Wrapping Paper will start appearing outside the store and you will get a total of 2 Festive Wrapping Paper in one day. Another technique is that you change the system’s time to Christmas time and then go outside Scrooge’s Store to find the Festive Wrapping Paper.
Once you have obtained 10x Festive Wrapping Paper, you need to gather the other crafting items for the gifts and then craft them at the crafting station. You can craft the following gifts.
Shiny Gift
The Shiny Gift will require the following items to craft.
- 1x Festive Wrapping Paper
- 1x Shiny Ruby
- 1x Shiny Emerald
Delicious Gift
The Delicious Gift will require the following items to craft.
- 1x Festive Wrapping Paper
- 1x Minnie’s Gingerbread Cookies
- 1x Hot Cocoa
Handcrafted Gift
The Handcrafted Gift will require the following items to craft.
- 1x Festive Wrapping Paper
- 1x Holiday Feast Chair
Naughty Gift
The Naughty Gift will require the following items to craft.
- 1x Festive Wrapping Paper
- 1x Coal Ore
You can craft any gift from the list and you need to craft a total of 10 gifts and give them to 10 different characters in the Dreamlight Valley to complete the Ho! Ho! Ho! Duty.
Reward
After completing the duty, open the menu and go into the Quests tab, and select the Village section. You will see Ho! Ho! Ho! completed and just click on the Collect option to retrieve the Present of Pile of Gifts.
You can place the Pile of Gifts in your house along with all the Festive Furniture to give the look of proper Holidays.
