- Primary Subject: Backline Conductor Evolution in EA Sports FC 27.
- Key Update: Emphasizes towering physical stature and defensive utility, spotlighting massive prospects like 6’9″ Isaak Touré alongside well-rounded PlayStyle options.
- Status: Live.
- Last Verified: October 2, 2026.
- Quick Answer: Prioritize towering height and physical presence with cards like Isaak Touré or pre-built PlayStyle profiles like Jordan Torunarigha to set up future upgrade chains.
Backline Conductor is yet another low-rated Evolution in FC 27 as EA continues its slower power curve promise.
It’s for center backs and restricts fullbacks from the upgrade.
Like all the Evolutions before it, you’d need to do this upgrade on long-term Ultimate Team prospects.
We list the best ones below.
Best Players for Backline Conductor Evolution in FC 27
The five standout players for Backline Conductor are:
- Isaak Touré (Silver)
- Yann Aurel Bisseck (Gold)
- Jordan Torunarigha (Silver)
- Joane Gadou (Silver)
- Emmanuel Agbadou (Gold)
A center back should be tall for crosses and corners. They also need to be physical so they aren’t tossed around by attackers.
At 6’9″, Isaak Touré is one of the tallest players in the game. Yes, that alone does not make a card good, but it’s better to pick a standout profile like this than simply go for stats and PS, which can be added later on.
If you’re looking for someone with decent PlayStyles already, pick either Torunarigha, Gadou, or Agbadou. Torunarigha has the strongest combination of the three.
We wouldn’t suggest stressing too much about picking the right chemistry for these Evolutions, unless you really want a particular themed team.
None of the evolved cards will make it into your starting XI right now. It’ll take a good couple of upgrades or more for that to happen, and at that point chemistry will be much easier to manage.
Don’t go picking the oddest leagues and countries, however.
