Slime Rancher 2 has just launched into its early access release, meaning players can finally experience the highly anticipated sequel to the slime farming simulator. While everyone is out rushing to raise the new array of colorful cute Slimes, there are still plenty of questions gone unanswered in this brand new title. Wondering how to upgrade your equipment? This guide will show you how to use Slime Rancher 2’s Fabricator.
Upgrading equipment in Slime Rancher 2
In the first Slime Rancher, the Fabricator can be used for making decorations. While that’s the same case here, in Slime Rancher 2 you can also use it to upgrade and improve your equipment. To do so, simply approach the Fabricator and interact with it. Then, head over to the upgrades tab, where you’ll see a list of available upgrades and their required costs.
If you’re having trouble finding the Fabricator, no worries. Your Fabricator is located in the Conservatory. When you’re there, look over to the Plort Market and look left to find a staircase leading down. At the bottom of these stairs, you’ll find the Laboratory, which contains both your Fabricator and your Refinery, which will be right next to each other.
While Slime Rancher 2 doesn’t have any multiplayer features, you’ll find the upgrades at your Fabricator will help make up for less manpower in your solo adventure.
