Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games promises to be one of 2023’s biggest hitters, and it seems it will hit your storage space hard.
As reported by Push Square, it seems that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 limited edition console is being shipped out to some content creators and according to the retail box, the sequel will command 98GB of storage space.

To compare notes, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 required over 70GB of storage with its bundled DLC with the standalone Miles Morales expansion requiring just under 40GB. So considering the fact that the sequel will have various improvements over its predecessor, not to mention that it’s being developed exclusively for the PS5, around 100GB seems about right.
The limited edition console will be released on 1 September alongside its snazzy DualSense controller. Whereas its standalone console cover will be released on 8 September. As for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, that will be released for PS5 on 20 October.
