More characters are joining the Mario Strikers: Battle League roster. This time, both are folks who are traditionally “bad guys.” On December 15, 2022, a free Mario Strikers: Battle League update will add Birdo and Bowser Jr.
A first trailer appeared showing both characters in-game. First, the Mario Strikers: Battle League video shows Bowser Jr.’s entrance. He appears alongside his dad and some general minions. It cuts to a stat screen offering details about his capabilities. It notes his strength is 13/25, speed is 13/25, shooting is 11/25, passing is 17/25, and technique is 9/25. His special brings in his Clown Car.
After that, Birdo appears in Mario Strikers: Battle League. After she lands on the field, it shows her stats. Her strength is 9/25, speed is 10/25, shooting is 18/25, passing is 9/25, and technique is 17/25. Her special involves shooting, then kicking, a jeweled egg.
