Insomniac Games has confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is releasing in Fall 2023 exclusively on PlayStation 5, according to a recent PlayStation blog post highlighting Sony’s 2023 releases. Jamie Mayer, one of Insomniac’s writers gave us a sneak preview of this release window a few days ago, saying she is currently working on the upcoming title set for release in Fall 2023 in addition to Insomniac’s next big Marvel hit Wolverine. It seems that this date was unintentionally revealed as she changed it to just 2023 shortly after, but now we have an official confirmation that the release information is indeed true. The blog post also details other games that Sony has high expectations for, such as Forspoken, Hogwarts Legacy, Destiny 2: Light Fall, Resident Evil 4 and Final Fantasy XVI.
