We finally have an official release window for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The sequel to Insomniac Games’ blockbuster game featuring the web-slinger will be released during Fall 2023. While there hasn’t been a specific release date, we surely can expect the game to swing its way to shelves during that period. This release window was announced via a post on the PlayStation Blog.

The Fall 2023 release window was unexpectedly confirmed when one of Insomniac games’ writers hinted at it. Additionally, the listing for the game was also spotted in the PlayStation Store that further fueled the rumors of a supposed announcement around the game. Now, Spider-Man fans can take a sigh of relief and can look forward to returning to New York City.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: More To Come
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will surely be a noticeable improvement over its predecessor. Since the game will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive, it will surely harness the power of Sony’s latest console ad provide the best visuals. Moreover, Peter Parker and Miles Morales will both feature prominently in the game as protagonists. It could be that players can switch between these two Spider-Men at will as it has been a popular feature in video games.
In the game, Venom seems to be the main villain. But, Spider-Man has a lot of foes so we can expect more to show up. We might also get at the Wolverine himself, whose game Insomniac is also developing. But, with Spider-Man 2 in full-on development right now, it would be unrealistic to expect any more news on it soon. The Wolverine game probably is in early development. So, we might have information on it during the latter half of 2023. But, with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 only months away fans can surely look forward to an amazing title.
