Master of One is a new friendship quest for Taylin in Palia. Once players have completed Chapter 3 of the main story, they can raise their friendship level with Taylin and pursue the new quests. Master of One is the fifth friendship quest for Taylin, requiring players to help Taylin find some hobbies to keep herself busy. In this guide, we will walk you through the Master of One quest in Palia.
How to Complete the Master of One Quest in Palia
Starting the Quest
Master of One quest becomes available upon reaching Friendship Level 5 with Taylin. To earn the friendship points for Taylin, speak with her daily (in-game), gift her favorite items, and complete her requests. Moreover, players must also complete the “Party to the Hunters” quest for Taylin. After reaching Friendship Level 5 and completing the prerequisite quest, a new quest will unlock for Taylin. A quest marker will appear on Taylin. Go and speak with Taylin to start the quest.
Check in with Taylin after a day
During your initial conversation with Taylin after reaching Friendship Level 5, she will mention that Sifuu had tried to get her into knitting, but it is not for her. After going through a few dialogues, you have to select a hobby suggestion for Taylin.
- Tinkering
- Cooking
- Reader
- Competitive Breakdancing
Out of all these options, cooking seems the best, as Reth can help and teach Taylin to cook.
After speaking with Taylin, you must wait a day (in-game) to check on her again. Once a day has passed, open the map to find Taylin and go to her. Speak with Taylin to see how she is doing with her new hobby. Unfortunately, she is finding cooking difficult too. During the conversation, suggest woodworking and tell her that Tish can help you.
Wait to hear from Taylin
After suggesting another hobby to Taylin, you have to wait for her to come and talk to you. Head to your housing plot area, and Taylin will come visit you. Finally, woodworking suits Taylin, and she finds it relaxing. Although her love for hunting is still the same, she does woodworking in her free time. Go through the rest of the dialogue, and the quest will conclude.
Rewards
Completing the Master of One quest in Palia gives the following rewards.
- 1x Artist’s Easel
- 1x Artist’s Easel Stool
- 35 Renown Points
