Persona 5 and the franchise as a whole bring the hits in terms of its soundtrack, but it’s not bringing much in terms of Persona‘s future as a whole. Atlus has stated that the upcoming Super Live P-Sound concert will only be used as a venue to allow fans to reminisce on the funky tunes of Persona, and no major game announcement will be made. Atlus had made some announcements regarding the 25th anniversary of the franchise, but so far, not much in the way of new games.
Some fans were expecting the concert to bring to light some of the promised announcements Atlus made, but the official statement indicates that no new reveals or updates will be made at all. The year is wrapping up, and fans are itching for a potential Persona 6 announcement (the original Persona 5 was released nearly six years ago, so it’s about the right time). Sadly, they will have to wait a little while longer for some news regarding a sequel.
