Explore New Worlds with Epic’s Latest Free Games
This week, the Epic Games Store has reintroduced their weekly game giveaway, delighting gamers with two unique titles available at no cost. These offerings provide an appealing mix of narrative depth and interactive gameplay.
Citizen Sleeper: A Tabletop-Inspired Journey in Space
The standout title of the week, Citizen Sleeper invites players into a stark vision of the future. Developed by Jump Over The Age, this game is set aboard Erlin’s Eye, a deteriorating space station on the fringe of interstellar society. Players take on the role of a Sleeper, a human consciousness embedded in a mechanical body, navigating a world of corporate dominance and social disparity. Players will encounter dice-based mechanics intertwined with an expansive narrative that allows them to forge alliances, engage in various jobs, and influence the world around them. Launched with critical acclaim in 2022, Citizen Sleeper has been expanded with three free DLC episodes since its release, enhancing its universe and gameplay depth.
ROBOBEAT: Shoot to the Rhythm
Accompanying Citizen Sleeper, ROBOBEAT offers an exhilarating blend of first-person shooting and rhythm-based gameplay. Every action—from shooting and dodging to reloading—is synchronized with music. The game features procedurally generated environments and an array of weapons that can be unlocked as players progress. Additionally, it includes a unique feature allowing players to import their own music tracks, adding a personal touch to each battle.
