Valorant has just revealed that some new Night Market discounts will become available soon, beginning on September 28th, 2022 at 5 PM pacific time. Night Markets are a great way to grab weapons you may have missed, at a lower price. Here’s the promo tweet from Valorant’s feed:
It also looks like Riot is planning on another Night Market for October 11th, and Valorant fans are generally happy with these deals.
Even though the prices could stand to be a bit lower, the rules of the Night Market also allow players to access weapon skins that were released at least two acts beforehand. Also, the Night Market usually boasts decent prices compared to the traditional store’s dailies and bundles.
Of course, every player is offered six skins at random, so it can be difficult to find something you were looking for. As a result, many fans have complained about the skins they end up with, which can sometimes be pretty disappointing.
It’s even more frustrating because Night Markets can be rather few and far between. But it’s still a fun way to dig up something you might not have even known about, especially if you’re a new player. Cosmetics aren’t really considered true (or satisfying) content most of the time.
But Valorant has been keeping things pretty fresh, and it has been building up a lot of genuine hype, lately. Not just with little events like this, but particularly with the Valorant Champions Tour 2023, which only just announced all 30 of the competing teams that have qualified to move forward.
Over the last couple of months, they’ve also patched in a number of game updates, and even held a fan contest for a crossover with Webtoon.
